First meeting!

We had our first meeting. Some notes:

• The subject matter for the first eight lectures shown in the initial flyer will change since there wasn't the need to teach kids from the ground up. Only one student didn't yet know how to play.
• There is no meeting this coming Thursday, September 15th.
• Sign up for the email list at: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/indialanticchess/join
• Rules and permission slip were distributed. They're available at the front office, on Mrs. Kirk's edline page, and from her classroom.

Here's a tentative calendar for September. This should also be shared with you if you join the email list through Google groups.
