Turkey Bash Tournament Success!

Thank you so much to August, Beata, Elek, John, Liam, Nash, and Vincent for showing up to play for their team at Lifepoint Church. And wow what a tournament location this was, providing acres of land, a playground, and even a lake with three of what I'm pretty sure were otters.

While August, Elek, and Vincent placed individually in their sections, I was most happy about our K-3 first place team award because it required everyone's determination and contribution to reach the winning score of 10.5 points. There were some tough spots involving tears but you pushed through. It was exciting that the second and third place teams in this section had 10 points, it was so close!

Unfortunately Nash and Vincent had to leave before the trophy ceremony and some of the photo opportunities (this was a LONG tournament). I hope everyone will continue to practice thru Christmas break and come together again for the Kings and Queens tournament on January 21st.
